We have been very lazy and did not update this blog forever. But this is how it goes. First there were no real news, second we were dealing with other things then ‘9to5′ and all of the sudden 3 weeks are gone. Bad, bad, bad…

Actually there is not too much new right now, except…OK – Exground in Wiesbaden was great. Again we were one of the most visited movies. 

Our world sales agent Ida Martins from Medialuna attended some big filmmarkets the past weeks and months and it seems that more territories will be signed soon. 

As mentioned before: Canada will be first and release is planned for early spring 2009

In January the AVN awards are coming up again. Since this is a meeting place for the entire industry of porn and it we went there a couple of times for the work on the mive, we kind of keep looking, what is going on there.

Yesterday I went through last years winners list, where Sasha Grey was awarded ‘Female Performer of the Year’. I also found out, that besides her and Belladonna (best Director), other people from the movie were given an award. Actually it was a whole scene, which is featured for some minutes in the movie. The award for ‘Most Outragous Sex Scene’ was given to Cindy Crawford, Rick Master and Audrey Hollander for the scene “There are Some Things Even an Asshole Shouldn’t Attempt” from the title ‘Ass Blasting Felching Anal Whores’, a movie by Jim Powers.

This years awards will be presentedby Belladonna on the stage of the Mandaly Bay in Las Vegas. I am not sure, if we can make it this year to Vegas, but if not, I guess we will still hear some familiar names in the award list.

Last Thursday  night we finally had the German premiere. Not the kind of ‘glamour party’ thing – we hope we have this soon with all our friends. It was an offcial screening for the Kassel Dokumentarfilmfest. And again the film proofed to be not just an audience magnet but also a crowd-pleaser. Organizers confirmed that it was the best visited show so far. Almost the entire late-night crowed stayed for a long Q&A. So far it was the most intellectual session.

This all makes us even more excited for the next weekend, when ‘9to5 – Days in Porn’ will be played at the EXGROUND FILMFEST in Wiesbaden on Saturday, the 22nd at 10PM.

So if you are from around Wiesbaden or Frankfurt, try to get tickets. It will probably take some time, until the movie will be released in Germany.

Also check out the bonus scenes we keep putting up on this blog. They are all very exclusive and mostly part of an earlier cut. The last two were from Belldaonna and Aiden, when they made a business trip to San Diego. The next one will be up next week, when we will also have some more news around the movie.

After the World Premiere at the World Filmfestival in Montreal (see last blog entry) 9to5 – Days in Porn will have its Latin American premiere at the prestigous International Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro. There will be 2 screenings the first week of October. The exact screening times will follow within days, hopefully together with more confirmed festival appearances.

A new bonus scene is showing Belladonna doing office work with her husband Aiden.
