We have been very lazy and did not update this blog forever. But this is how it goes. First there were no real news, second we were dealing with other things then ‘9to5′ and all of the sudden 3 weeks are gone. Bad, bad, bad…

Actually there is not too much new right now, except…OK – Exground in Wiesbaden was great. Again we were one of the most visited movies. 

Our world sales agent Ida Martins from Medialuna attended some big filmmarkets the past weeks and months and it seems that more territories will be signed soon. 

As mentioned before: Canada will be first and release is planned for early spring 2009

In January the AVN awards are coming up again. Since this is a meeting place for the entire industry of porn and it we went there a couple of times for the work on the mive, we kind of keep looking, what is going on there.

Yesterday I went through last years winners list, where Sasha Grey was awarded ‘Female Performer of the Year’. I also found out, that besides her and Belladonna (best Director), other people from the movie were given an award. Actually it was a whole scene, which is featured for some minutes in the movie. The award for ‘Most Outragous Sex Scene’ was given to Cindy Crawford, Rick Master and Audrey Hollander for the scene “There are Some Things Even an Asshole Shouldn’t Attempt” from the title ‘Ass Blasting Felching Anal Whores’, a movie by Jim Powers.

This years awards will be presentedby Belladonna on the stage of the Mandaly Bay in Las Vegas. I am not sure, if we can make it this year to Vegas, but if not, I guess we will still hear some familiar names in the award list.

I want to dedicate this blog to Sasha Grey, one of the main protagonists of ‘9to5 – Days in Porn’, but also a very special person. This weeks bonus scene is very short but features her and Roxy Deville.

After having the pleasure of working with her at a time when she was brand new to the industry, we are now very proud to say, that she became a true friend in the process after the film making. Not that this would have influenced the cinematic view on her in the movie of course. But it was almost foreseeable at the time, that she is a special character and would somehow follow a very unique path.

We are even more pleased, when we see her success in areas, what she always claimed to be her big interest besides the world of porn: Music, art and Independent film making. After her lead role in ‘Smash Cut’, the lates movie of Lee Demarbre, she also took on a lead in Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Girlfriend Experience’. We hope that we will be able to schedule some of the national premieres – which are supposed to come up in the next months – around her or other protagonists, featured in ‘9to5 – Days in Porn’. Also there will be some detailed informations for national distributions and release schedules very soon. But first we look forward for next weekends screening at the  EXGROUND festival in Wiesbaden.
